About

Hi, I’m Tommy. Project Katrina is my historical record of Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. You’ll find posts about general news, government procurement, the rebuilding of the levees, links to government reports, book reviews, videos (my Project Katrina YouTube), tons of photos, and of course commentary. Project Katrina is updated almost daily so check back often. Welcome and I hope you find my posts intelligent and informative.

In my professional life I am a marketing and technology consultant. But that is pretty boring. My personal site, Idle Musings and a business site.

If you have any questions, comments, or an article or something you think might interest me you can contact me via e-mail at tommy at webranding dot org.

This is my first time to your website and I’m very impressed. Your are doing a great job. I just hope you can convince some of the conservative New Orleanians (I am a New Orleans native) not to vote for McSame. I live in Dallas and have for many years and I still can’t get over Katrina. Some of the folks I know and love there still don’t get it - that they were abandoned and left to fend for themselves. Many in NO still believe that Bush is great because he is a “conservative” and so look the other way. It’s the biggest disconnect that I’ve ever seen. Anyway I’ll be checking in regularly. Keep up the good work.
